Shaughn O'Donoghue

Shaughn O'Donoghue

Managing Director

Alongside managing Support Coordination Software, Shaughn is the owner/director of Sunshine Specialist Supports, one of the fastest growing Support Coordination businesses on the Sunshine Coast. His innovative management has produced consistently high quality outcomes for participants while maintaining a financially viable and successful business. He has worked in the disability sector for 30 years and is passionate about guiding people to get the most out of their life. During this time, he has helped people with all abilities achieve incredible goals.

Shaughn has worked with Disability Services as a Supports Facilitator, Team Leader and Manager, as well as in various project and governance roles. Prior to working for the Queensland Government, he worked for a number of disability service providers before opening his own business as a community arts worker who coordinated large scale, inclusive and accessible community events and ran workshops for people with a disability.

As a Supports Facilitator Shaughn worked with people to identify solutions that met their support needs by linking them to formal, informal supports and recreational activities within their community that reduce their reliance on formal supports.

He has linked hundreds of individuals to vocational and skill-development programs, domestic support and personal care providers.

As Team Leader, Shaughn regularly referred clients to therapists for case management and therapeutic interventions; produced written reports, person centred and behaviour support plans, and lead the intake and assessment team in the busiest service centre in the state.

Shaughn’s hands-on extensive experience has transferred directly into the development of the software’s tools and features, knowing what support coordinators need and appreciate. He has been instrumental in the design of the streamlined workflow within the software and understands the day to day needs of running a support coordination business.

Mary Ingerton

Mary Ingerton

Managing Director

Mary has over 20 years’ experience in the human services field across the community, government and private sectors. Having worn many hats in her career, from direct work with families and people with disability to leading teams across a number of human services sectors, to managing business operations and growth. Mary has developed the ability to navigate complex challenges and lead and manage multifaceted teams on a variety of multidisciplinary projects.

In addition to SCS, Mary is the General Manager of Support Coordination Academy. The Academy works with support coordinators and support coordination organisations across Australia, to develop quality practice and enable people with disability to achieve great outcomes within the NDIS.

Previous to this role, Mary was General Manager of Strategy and Business Opportunities for DIViN Pty Ltd. She specialised in assisting businesses, organisations and individuals to transition into the NDIS market.

Along with her strong experience in the field of human services, her professional value lies in:

Mary’s astute knowledge of Support Coordination business management and training, has heavily influenced the direction of Support Coordination Software that continues to deliver positive outcomes for not only the participants, but also the people and businesses providing the support.

Nic Farman

Nic and his team are the tech behind SCS. Alongside his directors role, he is the Managing Director of several online business enterprises that specialise in delivering software solutions, Apps, SaaS applications, CRMs and Learning Management Systems, SEO & online marketing, and other website development services.

With a strong background in information technology, he excels in deploying and analysing IT systems, developing full-stack solutions, and creating database-driven client portals. He is skilled in building websites with seamless integration of SEO practices, as well as implementing successful social media marketing and Google AdWords campaigns.

In Nic’s role as the Managing Director of Spirit3000, another online business enterprise, his focus is on delivering training, apps, and website development services. He has successfully developed online personal development and business development training systems for international psychology corporations, crafting compelling video and audio content to enhance client sales.

Adding to his experience, Nic was the Owner/Director for a recruitment agency and Registered Training Organisation franchise, combining it with a technology services business. In this capacity, he established and registered an RTO with a focus on IT, offering valuable “Back to Work” programs for Queensland Health WorkCover clients.

He is experienced in designing and implementing career transition programs, training career advisors and consultants, and developing a systematic Career Development and Recruitment franchise. He has provided extensive marketing, training, and business planning support to franchisees. Moreover, Nic has developed computer software and websites for clients, provided maintenance services for computer software and hardware, and successfully coordinated and delivered training seminars and courses.

His diverse background and expertise have brought SCS a fast, secure database driven platform with a clean, slick, intuitive user interface that SC’s love to use. Nic and his team continue to innovate, add features, and instil Australian best practice standards into our Support Coordination Software.
